Now that summer is over it seems like the domain market is picking up as there have recently been a lot of strong sales. Including another big .me sale, selling for six figures. While I get the .me draw, I have not used any sites that are on .me in my personal life so I’m not sure how much widespread notoriety the extension has, but if you’re able to buy any on the cheap they may be a good investment. Here’s the list…

My Top 5 Picks – the Got Milk? campaign turned “got” into a popular front word. Brandable for an internet marketing purpose. – this is the cool spelling of Nuked. Could be used for a SENuke based business. – last name of a popular New Yorkian, name used by some businesses, and even a first name for some. – not the best but not the worst. Somewhere in the $500-$700 range. – teach people how to setup a business and sell them the forms they need.

My 5 Picks with Less Than 10 Bidders – cupcakes are hot and trendy in the food world. They even got I think 2 shows dedicated to them. Good name for a cupcake shop to own. – people love taking fun and interesting quizzes. Put some up here and you’ll get traffic and Facebook shares. – good domain for an agent agency to pick up and brand. – yeah, this one will get a ton of traffic if you develop it… mostly guys in the 18-24 age range. – if you want to sell joke/gag glasses this is the domain to do it on.

My Darkhorse Pick (a domain I think you can snatch cheap and sell for over $1,000) – great name for a clothing site. Might have a few online shops that would be interested in this one.
