A few trends I’ve noticed in domain sales recently. LLLL.com’s that have four good letters have been selling higher, on average at Namejet I’d say $300-$500 range and some of them easily $XXXX. Domains with China+Keyword have been selling in the aftermarket for $XX,XXX. And domains with two words that make a phrase are hot, selling for much more than I would think they are worth, but hey, if someone is willing to pay that price than that is what it is worth today. Here’s the list…

My Top 5 Picks

Meat.info – you could turn it into a site talking about poultry, beef, pork, etc… or into a porn site.

Ring-tones.com – I’m not a huge fan of domains with a dash/hyphen in them. But I think this one is pretty good considering.

3dStream.com – if 3D streaming ever comes online you’ll be positioned well with this domain name.

iForgive.com – a site on forgiveness where people can publicly ask someone else to forgive them. It would make good reading for people to see what people are asking forgiveness for.

WNP.net – LLL.net’s are still popular, especially if the .com is used for a commercial purpose because the next best one someone can get is this one.

My 5 Picks with Less Than 10 Bidders

CambridgeUniversity.com – you might need a great GPA to go there, but you can be dumb as rocks and own the domain if you want.

SecureMailbox.com – add the word “secure” in front of something and automatically people trust it more. Pretty good one for secure email storage.

GroupWeddings.com – no idea if there is a such a thing as group weddings but you can start a trend if there’s not. Offer discounts to couples who will participate since you’ll get volume discounts.

GamblingAddiction.net – SEO the crap out of the site, and then when people land on it have affiliate offers to gambling sites. Just kidding! Great domain for an informational site to help gambling addicts, not sure how to monetize that though.

ZenPay.com – the owner of zenscrow might be interested in this domain.

My Darkhorse Pick (a domain I think you can snatch cheap and sell for over $1,000)

LocalPickup.com – a lot of people pickup stuff that people don’t want and they turn around and sell it on Craigslist. Nice domain name to consolidate all these people and let people who have the crap find someone in their area to pick it up.
