Wow, what a shit storm over the past few days about auction lists. If you are not a fan then don’t read them, simple as that. Nobody has any right to tell someone else what they should or shouldn’t write about on their own site. And nobody is forcing anyone to read their blog so anyone complaining about this really needs to get a life – point blank. The only thing that bothers me is that there is one list owner who thinks since he’s been doing it for a while that no one else should be allowed to post lists, sorry buddy that isn’t how things work – see “Competition” in the dictionary. Otherwise Yahoo would still be #1 and Google wouldn’t be around. If you don’t like competition I’ll give you the cheese to go with that whine as an invisible man plays the violin in the background. Here’s the list…
My Top 5 Picks
Rzoo.com – I like that it has ‘zoo’ in it as many different sites use the word, makes this more valuable in my opinion.
ForSaleForRent.com – I guess this domain covers it all, or actually you might need a ForSublet in there too.
CareerCorner.com – great brandable name and careers is a hot niche with unemployment being high.
PizzaStone.com – I got a few of these at home, unless you have your own pizza oven you’ll need a pizza stone to cook the pies in the regular oven.
Grabb.com – if you can’t get Grab than getting Grabb will work too, as mentioned yesterday look at Digg and Fiverr.
My 5 Picks with Less Than 10 Bidders
CrossChannel.com – I think there’s a few different meanings for this, I’m thinking distribution and selling.
PhotoStart.com – everyone knows about the photo finish. But what about the photo start, hmmmm.
ElectronicsNews.com – if you want to start a blog on the latest news in the electronics world here’s the domain to do it on.
BigFatChef.com – maybe a dumb name, but I kinda like it. Pretty soon Emeril can use this domain as he keeps eating more than he’s serving.
Restauranting.com – not sure if this is a real word, but there is real potential for this in the hands of the right person.
My Darkhorse Pick (a domain I think you can snatch cheap and sell for over $1,000)
PayPerAds.com – nice brandable name. Plays off the payper view (which is actually a type of ad – not just television programming).
