I made two nice acquisitions over the past few days that I’m going to share, would like them to be finalized though and in my account before I mention them so this will happen end of this week or by next Monday the latest. Normally I try to stay unattached from domains but I think these two are pretty sweet domains and I think the resale potential should be very good. Here’s the list…
My Top 5 Picks
OnlineGambling.org – a big niche will become bigger once the US legalizes it. Not sure I like it with the .org extension here but 90 people do so far.
HousewivesOnline.com – hmmm, wonder what type of site someone would put on this domain. I think we can assume it won’t be about cooking recipes or redecorating tips.
SpanishDomains.com – if you have a ton of Spanish domains to sell this is the domain name for you. I’ve had one very good one for the past year+ but have not received a single offer on it yet.
Linkages.com – even with the Google Penguin updates people are still buying backlinks. This is a nice domain if you’re a backlink seller to sell your services on.
SimpleFolders.com – sounds like a software program to help you stay organized.
My 5 Picks with Less Than 10 Bidders
SellMyContent.com – nice call to action domain, let people sell their articles on this site. With Google wanting more quality content article writing services have really picked up over the past 6 months.
True.biz – there’s a .biz siting on the list. Can’t remember the last time we had one of these that was worth listing. I think this one is good as a brandable domain and will fetch a couple hundred bucks.
Direcv.com – this one is a typo for DirecTV.com so not sure what the legal implications are for it since it is missing a letter so you might want to check on that before bidding.
PaidOpinion.com – sounds a little ironic. On the Yahoo homepage last week there was an article about two teens who won a business idea contest to start a site that will let people review products and they can include affiliate links to the products within their review. Is it me or is that the dumbest idea ever? Who is going to post a negative review when you’re trying to make money? And it WON the contest!
Fitzgeralds.com – it’s a last name and it’s also used in a lot of business names. The starting bid though is $1,123 so you should have a good idea of who can you sell it to before bidding.
My Darkhorse Pick (a domain I think you can snatch cheap and sell for over $1,000)
SchoolBully.com – with all the publicity that bullying in schools is getting I think someone would be willing to pay for this domain and launch a site related to the topic.
