So I started a newer strategy on some of my domain acquisitions… I know that Sedo has been killing it with having fixed price domains sell… I’ve been buying auction domains in the $10-$50 range that are .com, make sense, and could see someone else wanting and have been listing them on Sedo for fixed price of $997. I’ve been buying these domains for the past month and just decided to give this fixed price strategy on them a shot… hoping to see some volume at this affordable price and goal is to pick up 5-10 sales per month extra this way, I’ll let you know how it goes…
You can click on any of the domain names to be taken to its auction page.
My Top 5 Picks
Soaps.org – I don’t watch’em but I know a lot of women do.
PainSolution.com – a nice call to action domain. People will pay for solutions to pain.
Utilities.info – a rare appearance on my list for a .info domain, but this one makes sense.
SMSBlog.com – route all your texts onto your blog, should make for interesting reading if you’re an interesting person.
OnlyGay.com – decent name for a happy site.
My 5 Picks with Less Than 10 Bidders
YourPal.com – surprised there are under 10 bidders on this one.
USAGov.org – this domain sounds very official.
ProxyUSA.com – good name to sell US proxies on, I’d prefer USAProxy but this one will work too.
OnlyBoys.com – no girls allowed, drink beer, talk sports, burp… I’d want to be a member there.
Updatings.com – some people think the “s” kills it, I see it as a $50k discount.
My Darkhorse Pick (a domain I think you can snatch cheap and sell for over $1,000)
FoodDictionary.net – yes, it is a .net, but I think women would love this site and if you had an app also you could do big numbers.
