Yesterday I got the Namejet email that I bought a domain name which surprised me because I wasn’t expecting to have won a domain yesterday. Turns out I got a nice pronounceable LLLL.com for $69 because there were no other bidders. I must have put this bid in a long time ago because the name didn’t ring any bells but it certainly was a nice surprise. Here’s the list…
My Top 5 Picks
DealStreet.com – nice brandable domain for the right person to develop.
Restrictive.com – it’s a one word domain. Not sure what I’d develop on this guy though.
Scoots.com – awesome domain name to sell scooters on.
LandRecords.com – I think every homeowner searches for theirs sooner or later, I did when I bought my house.
Wallace.net – it’s one of those versatile domains. It’s a first name, it’s a last name, it’s the name of companies/businesses.
My 5 Picks with Less Than 10 Bidders
Blcp.com – four good letters.
BoatRaces.com – I was in Newport (RI) a few weeks ago and was on the water when a boat race was happening. Unfortunately it was a sailboat race, the wind was pretty dead, and I was more entertained looking at snails.
HostRecord.com – maybe a historical cache of host records.
StreamingLive.tv.com – this name works well with the extension. Guess what you’d put on this site.
SeafoodSoup.com – love this stuff, crab, lobster, clams, a white fish. I can eat multiple bowls of it in one sitting.
My Darkhorse Pick (a domain I think you can snatch cheap and sell for over $1,000)
illusion.org – only two bidders on this nice single word domain… I’ll be number 3.
