A couple of interesting auctions ended yesterday, Copied.com sold for $8,008, Despite.com sold for $6,006, Elway.com sold for $701 (guess John wasn’t aware his last name was up for auction), and GY.net sold for $9,532. A week ago IQG.com sold for $10,651 which is interesting because you rarely see a LLL.com with a Q in it sell for a good price (especially in the middle of the domain). Here’s the list…
My Top 5 Picks
EasyPrizes.com – tell people they can get easy prizes and watch them line up like ants.
Fiesta.org – always ready for a good party.
Cagey.com – good word to apply to most domainers.
Ramrod.com – you can see a few of these at antique shops or gun shops.
IndiaServices.com – India’s growth is huge so while you see lots of China domain related sales I expect India to start creeping up there too.
My 5 Picks with Less Than 10 Bidders
DirtyDeed.com – I’d like to see what someone attempts to do to commercialize this domain name.
WickedWoman.com – I see this as a bad ass woman’s clothing store.
OCC.info – normally not a fan of these LLL.info’s but there’s a ton of results for “occ”.
AdventureDate.com – could either be a site to find adventurous people to go on a date with, or a site that plans adventurous dates for couples. Either way sounds exciting.
BollywoodTonight.com – I watched Slumdog Millionaire and really enjoyed the movie when I watched it, but I don’t get the dancing at the end during the credits, it kinda ruined it for me seeing the good guys and bad guys dancing together.
My Darkhorse Pick (a domain I think you can snatch cheap and sell for over $1,000)
CapeCodProperty.com – expensive place to live, good commissions for selling homes there, realtors with big wallets to buy this from you.
