So I went hand reg crazy in the past three days (especially yesterday) and bought around 600 domains (which doubled my domain ownership). Hopefully my strategy pans out. I was really surprised that most of the domains I purchased were available… either I found a good niche to invest in, or I threw away over five grand, only time will tell. Here’s the list…
My Top 5 Picks
ForNow.com – common two word phrase, like it, easy four figures.
LegallyBlond.com – only one question… does Reese come with the domain? (if you don’t know Reese, http://www.kcweb.com/super/superg/r_witherspoon_1.jpg)
Dunk.org – great domain for the basketball fan.
BrakeZone.com – nice brandable, I’m sure a few companies call themselves this already.
HomeCooking101.com – I could see a new star being born on this domain. It’ll start out as a small blog and soon you’ll have your own show after Diners, Driveins, and Dives.
My 5 Picks with Less Than 10 Bidders
ForumThemes.org – if you sell forum themes for VBulletin, SMF, etc… this is a domain for you.
BestCable.com – sell it to one of those cable companies that are always fighting with each other. Their business model is antiquated and I hope people start dropping them until they revise how they do things.
OPS.co – hide the children it’s a .co domain. Only like it because of its business terminology.
WebchatCam.com – had to think about this for a minute. After that minute I think there is value here.
Froople.com – it just sounds cool.
My Darkhorse Pick (a domain I think you can snatch cheap and sell for over $1,000)
BadBeef.com – it seems like every other week there is a beef recall somewhere. You can track them all and become the authority on it. How you monetize that… don’t ask me. Maybe sell ad space to the poultry industry.
