I was having a conversation with a friend last night when he told me about this new social networking site that is getting some funding, currently in invite only mode, and I choked on my saliva when he told me the name for it… Qloo.com (pronounced as clue). My friend seemed to think it was a trendy name and I seemed to think if their funding was more than fifty bucks they should have invested it into getting a different domain name. It’s amazing that a lot of people still don’t get it. Here is today’s list…
My Top 5 Picks
7250.com – I think NNNN.com that ends in a zero are more useful and popular.
645.net – not sure how popular NNN.net are but I guess I’ll see soon.
ffps.com – there’s quite a few meanings I can think of for ‘ff’ and I haven’t even had my second cup of coffee yet.
janks.com – I don’t buy many 5L.com domains but this one has a nice ring to it.
becomeanurse.com – good domain to sell to a nursing program for them to use in their marketing efforts.
My 5 Picks with Less Than 10 Bidders
sexporn.net – if you’re in the industry maybe you like having the two main keywords in a domain.
armstrong.info – maybe Lance can take to the site to post how he is innocent. If you get caught with your hand in the cookie jar sometimes you just need to admit it.
danyoung.com – does anyone invest in first name+last name .com’s? I checked out the most popular first names, the most popular last names, combined them into every combination and I bought maybe 20-30 of the ones that were unregistered.
opax.com – sounds kindy cool, worth the $69 me thinks.
tabledancing.com – I’m more of a viewer than a partaker in this and I’m OK with that.
