So I was bidding on an expired auction yesterday and I’m pretty pissed about the outcome. After going back and forth with one person for half an hour the bidding was in the $3,XXX range and I could have sworn the site said I had the high bid. I refreshed the site, 30 seconds left, I refreshed the site 15 seconds left, I refreshed the site, no time left. Now I was watching a TV show as I was doing this but I’m like 95% sure I won the auction and of course the reason for this rant is because when I went to go and make payment today it said the other guy won the auction. I guess the only takeaway is that I learned a lesson to not mix bidding with pleasure. Here is today’s list…

My Top 5 Picks

placeholders.com – nice one word domain, has the sound of a cool app that is similar to a bookmarking type of use.

expertvision.com – wouldn’t an eye doctor love to own this domain? Now just find one in a big market so they can spend some bucks.

lingeriecatalog.com – when I was growing up this was as good as it got, now internet porn ruined it all.

boxinggloves.org – nice product domain name, sell it to Rawlings.

musicempire.com – this would make a good vanity domain for Jay Z. I think he has some spare cash to spend.

My 5 Picks with Less Than 10 Bidders

moneysafes.com – people with cash on hand like to put it in a safe. Nice domain to sell them on.

wordpresstips.net – don’t care if it is a .net, huge keywords.

accesslock.com – has the sound of a cool software program for you to lock anything you don’t want anyone else to open.

restaurantattorney.com – I’d guess there are a few attorneys who specialize in restaurant cases.

thepain.com – good name for a doctor to own who deals with healing pain.

My Darkhorse Pick (a domain I think you can snatch cheap and sell for over $1,000)

northplymouth.com – GEO domain, just not sure how popular the place is.
