The domain typo Nordstorm.com (typo of Nordstrom) just closed at Snapnames with the winning bid of $15,500. Ironically one of the two bidders who were going back and forth was “Snapenams” (which is a typo of Snapnames). Nordstrom is known for its high end merchandise so maybe the value that the typo will drive affluent traffic played into this closing price. Seems like a good amount of money to pay for a risky typo, what do you think?
Crazy. I can see taking a $8 chance on it but $15.5K can get some excellent domains in today’s economy.
